Radio Flyer
You just never know what will come through our town...
Today, a Radio Flyer payed us a visit.
They stopped at my dad's building (an old bar that hes trying to turn into a performance space). They noticed his little "Rat Rod" truck parked out front and decided to stop and chat. Later he got them to take down the Wagon and go for a cruise with us up to Chimayo.
They made this Sunday one for the books ;D
I hope they come back sometime (and I hope they bring the Radio Flyer too!)
Today, a Radio Flyer payed us a visit.
Bob, Joy, and their dog Mojo stopped here in Espanola today (on their way back from Houston to San Francisco.) Bob and Joy are two folks that enjoy making fun and wonderful looking cars. This one, their Radio Flyer Wagon, kind of gives you an idea of what they do.

Everywhere we went people were looking and honking and waving at them. It really got everyone's attention (even the local Lowriders had to stop and take a look at it)

Partied Hard
BGN's birthday was April 30th. Hes now 21 and can now go into the casinos without being thrown out buy security. xD
BGN isn't the only one who just turned 21. Biggens also had his 21st birthday too.
So here we have Biggens and Draemen* on the couch, Fujin on the floor under a Twister mat, all crashed out after the party from the previous night. Jumeiras is the only one up and is trying to clean up the mess they made.
*If you're wondering why Draemen has horns (and a bush like Biggens xD) its because he got into Biggens' demon dip (he still has the bowl of chips in his hands). He ate too much of it and so hes sort of turning into a demon, or more specifically, a Krampus.
Drae turning into a Krampus comes from another picture I failed to finish. xD This one was going to be a Christmas picture. The story behind it was everyone had to be something for the Christmas picture, and Drae was going to be the Krampus.

El Camino Real
Why, its a sign pointing to a Real El Camino (my El Camino) on the El Camino Real Scenic Byway. Isn't that wild? xD
I drive by this sign everyday but today I realiazed that, from the right angle, it can be pointing to my car parked here at work . xD

This is my own birthday gift to myself. xD You won't believe how badly I wanted this. Every time I have a drink in the car I have to hold it with one hand or let it just roll around all over the floor. xD
At least now I have a place for it. Also, its a good place to put my phone too.

Oh JIMMY
What do I find when I come home from work today?
Jimmy, in my living room. Whats worse is hes right in front of the TV!
It turns out this is a piece made by one of my dad's firends. His friend is a very talented guy in both art and music. He did a piece of Yoda in a similar style for an art show last year.
(and if you look closely you can also see my "Red's" pic in here as well. Sadly, it didn't do so good xD)
I'm not quite sure what its doign here but its sure a nice piece of work to have. The best part is when I took a picture of him my camera asked if he blinked. xD

A lotta shakin going on...
A idea for a comic taking place at the new bridge being constructed at the Hoover Dam.
It revolves around two construction workers eating lunch when a earthquake* strikes, leading to a very strange rescue mission. xD
*the idea for the earthquake comes from the recent 2010 Baja California earthquake that was felt on the Mexico/California border, Arizona, and in the Las Vegas area as well. Whether or not it was felt near the Hoover Dam I don't know, but it gave me a reason for a Port-a-potty to fall off the bridge. xD
